Juanita J. Stamper, 87, Lewiston
     
Juanita Josephine Stamper passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, at Life Care Center of Lewiston.
     She was born Sept. 14, 1919, in Ahsahka, to Robert S. and Bertie Weinmenn Blevins. She attended schools at Ahsahka. She lived in the Clearwater Valley most of her life.
     She married Earl Monroe Stamper Nov. 23, 1935, in Clarkston. He passed away Sept. 27, 1998.
     She was a housewife and mother. She also worked at the Orofino Convalescent Center.
     Juanita is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Mingo of Clarkston; five sons, Lyle and Marilyn Stamper, Jim Stamper, Larry and Sharon Stamper, Earl and Donna Stamper and Bill and Karen Stamper, all of Lewiston; a daughter-in-law, Karen Stamper of Lewiston; a sister, Blanch Dorendorf of Deary; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl; two daughters, Earlene Blake and Evelyn Luck; four sons, Butch, Benny, Cecil and Dean Stamper; grandsons, Sonny and Gary Sargent and Kevin and Scott Stamper; a granddaughter, Belinda Stamper; one brother; and two sisters.
     A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens in Lewiston. Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home of Lewiston is handling the arrangements.
